and by faces forgotten.
TIHV3’s writers:
and by faces forgotten.
Consider how sound shapes our relationship with one another and the wider world as we launch Magma 69, The Deaf Issue, a magazine that includes poems by d/Deaf poets exploring deafness, how we hear and what we are deaf to.
Following on from the launch, poets Ksenia Balabina, Alison Smith and Donna Williams join a panel discussion with editors Lisa Kelly and Raymond Antrobus about BSL poetry, text, image and metaphor of d/Deaf poetics and the challenges of translation.
Join us for an evening of poetry where visual and oral aesthetics connect, clash and commune.

Join us for the launch of Magma 69: The Deaf Issue on Friday 17th November from 6.30pm at London Review Bookshop, 14-16 Bury Pl, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 2JL.
